Surface Performance are accredited by UKAS for slip resistance testing. This is the requirement of the rail industry organisations Network Rail, TFL and The London Underground. We carry out slip testing at train stations throughout The UK.
Slip testing is carried out across the rail network. We perform slip testing at locations such as train station platforms, station walkways, station concourses and waiting rooms. Slip testing for Network Rail and London Underground is carried out using the pendulum slip resistance device in accordance with BS 7976, EN 16165 and EN 13036-4. Surface Performance technicians are able to attend Network Rail sites all over The UK in order to conduct slip resistance testing and test reports are issued within 2 – 3 working days following completion of the on site train station slip test.
