Amusement Park & Theme Park Slip Testing

Slip testing is carried out at theme parks and amusement parks to ensure the safety of visitors and guests. Theme Parks have a high volume of pedestrian traffic and therefore slip resistance testing at theme parks is an important factor as part of risk management.

Surface Performance carry out slip testing at most of the UK’s major theme parks and amusement parks. We have recently completed the slip resistance testing of several newly installed flooring areas in Thorpe Park.

Slip testing of amusement parks and theme parks is carried out by our qualified slip testing engineers. Slip testing in theme parks is performed using the pendulum slip tester and we are UKAS accredited for this testing.
